Somehow, you might not even be sure how, but you found yourself here at my blog. I have read a lot of blogs. Never written one myself. Please beware, I forewarned you. There will be spelling errors and forgotten words. I am a trained scientist, not a writer. With that being said, let me start off by saying I need an outlet. An outlet to speak my mind to those who “might” want to listen who might want to learn along with me. You might find this entertaining in some weird way. I will admit this is purely for me. I have a lot of thoughts that need to be spoken SO!! Why not a blog?? Everyone else is doing… Lol.
My name is Tracy, also known by the handle EarthGirl. I have been hugging trees since I was a small child. I have cried over baby seals being clubbed in the Arctic. Who watches that type of horror show? I do. I have chained myself to trees to save Spotted Owl families in the Pacific Northwest. In high school, back in the early 90s, I was nicked named The Lorax for starting the first recycling program at our high school. I cried because all I wanted was to be cool and not The Lorax. Ps… I have always been a nerd. I now accept that I am indeed a heavily tattooed nerd. I love tattoos and music. A particular band called Widespread Panic is where I go to church from time to time. I knit and I sometimes sew my own clothes. I sincerly hope you enjoy what I have to say. You might even learn a thing or two.
I am EarthGirl, I speak for the trees and everything on this planet that doesn’t have a voice. This is our only home and we are actively destroying it. I will not take this sitting down. I am going to do all that I can within REASON to make a difference. WE all can make a difference. By reading this blog you are making a difference. It means you care. WE care!!!!!!!
