Sustainablity

Our LOVE for Mother Earth runs Deep

"The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams" Eleanor Roosevelt

Every aspect of Good Earth is thoughtfully curated to have a meaningful impact; from purchasing locally sourced herbs, to using as much low waste packaging as we can source, to the way we handcraft our products.

Towards Zero Waste

We are constantly working to eliminate as much waste as possible, from production to packaging. Less is always more.

Sustainable Shipping

All packages are shipped plastic free with biodegradable peanuts and 100% recyclable materials.

Offset Emissions

Each year we offset off all our emissions through companies like TerraPasse.

Sustainable Solutions

Plastics. Need I say more. Always at the forefront of my thoughts. They deserve to be critically looked at due to their their detriment to the environment. In 2020, we began to bring in as much sustainable packaging as we could find. We offer our lotions bars in a eco - paper tube that is 100% recyclable. We also offer our lip balms in the same packaging.

Low Waste Packaging

On average it takes 450 years to break down plastic in landfill. Aluminum is 500 years. Glass will never break down. Aluminum is the most recycled substance in our waste stream. I feel good about using aluminum. We moved our mosquitos to aluminum and offer a refill option to eliminate the sprayer. We have changed over our heal-all balms and shea butters to aluminum containers also. Next up liquid soap, we hope to make this happen in fall.

Sustainable Shipping

The last thing I would like to speak to is shipping. We are mostly an online business. Your order is shipped with zero plastics. It is 100% recyclable and compostable. A little about your box. We use paper tape to seal your package. Our peanuts can be dissolved in your kitchen sink or composted. The paper tape and the boxes we ship can be recycled, even the paper we use to print your invoice on is 100% recycled paper or bamboo if I can source it. Each package that ships UPS is carbon neutral and we offset our emissions for postal service packages through a company called Terra Pass. We switched to using paper tape in 2020.
